U.S. Facilities and Operations:

 

Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

 The Sales Associate Program is an entry level, rigorous, comprehensive and collegial development experience. We are seeking highly motivated individuals interested in entering the medical sales industry. This position would assist the field sales representatives and region managers efforts to maintain and increase B. Braun sales in the geography. Must be willing to relocate anywhere in the US. 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Account follow up visits
  • Account sales calls
  • Assist and perform account in-servicing upon sales close of new business.
  • Thorough understanding of B. Braun product offerings through in-house product training and account procedure observations
  • Ability to cold call
  • Manage sales campaigns as needed
  • Assist with product evaluations as needed
  • Work with supplier reps as needed
  • Introduce new products to assigned accounts
  • Understanding of IT resources including Salesforce.com and Lotus Notes databases

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of healthcare settings in the non-acute or acute care space, and prior sales experience is desired but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient mathematical skills
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work a large geography/territory with overnight travel.
  • Follow through on projects and tasks with direction from region managers and sales representatives.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of people at all levels.
  • Portray a professional image.
  • Ability to follow direction well.
  • Understand products and services thoroughly in an apprentice role.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Business travel and overnight travel
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Residence centrally located within territory/geography to be covered

Desired:

  • Prior sales experience desired but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
