U.S. Facilities and Operations:

 

Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic. 

 

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for creating and maintaining awareness of the OEM and International Division’s products and services in order to generate leads, sustain existing business, improve customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth. This person impacts the organization by positioning Braun as a leading and comprehensive contract manufacturing solutions provider for the Medtech industry, thereby positively impacting company revenue. Decisions directly impact customer satisfaction and sales force focus and direction.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Develop, implement and oversee annual marketing communications and media plans, and manage associated budgets. Monitor results of all tactics, as well as the tactics of competitors, and adjust future plans accordingly.
  • Establish overall messaging and ensure that the divisions are represented consistently across all communication channels.
  • Work with Senior Market Development and Strategy Manager and New Product Development Manager to develop advertising and campaigns to support new product launches
  • Oversee and develop all content and collateral for both divisions including, but not limited to, newsletters, direct mail, brochures, white papers
  • Oversee and develop all digital media for division including e-newsletters, webinars, videos and social media.
  • Oversee all OEM trade show strategies and tactics. Attends events as required.
  • Manage both internal and external PR programs. Work closely with industry editors and conference directors to generate exposure for B. Braun. Coordinate and support internal sources/experts for opportunities.
  • Design and conduct ongoing customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Support sales by developing customized tools for key meetings and opportunities
  • Manages external agency and vendor relationships and all related requests and service agreements.
  • Support ongoing development and enhancement of CRM for divisions.
  • Continuously research best practices in marketing, especially with regards to new communication tools
  • Collaborates with other divisions as necessary on projects and programs in order to ensure needs of division are met, while leveraging resources and minimizing development and implementation costs.
  • Work closely with regulatory and corporate compliance departments to ensure all programs meet both internal policies and procedures, as well as industry requirements
  • Regularly communicate with global colleagues to identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of outsourcing market trends, as well as contract manufacturing competitors, and apply knowledge accordingly.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communications.

  • Minimum of 3 years marketing communications experience, preferably within the medical device / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a Marketing Department.
  • Experience using website content management system and/or developing website content.
  • Experience developing content for both traditional and digital communication channels.

 

Desired:

  • Experience in contract manufacturing market
  • Experience developing and implementing surveys
  • Experience with CRM systems

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
