U.S. Facilities and Operations:


Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


Position Summary:


This position assists with the management of the company’s financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, key debt agreement compliance, and other accounting requirements to provide support to the Corporate VP of Accounting and CFO. 


Responsibilities: Essential Duties


  • Perform cash flow forecasting based on underlying projections and knowledge of the organization.
  • Track key treasury metrics (including LIBOR, bond rates, CPI, exchange rates, effective interest rates, Accounts Payable DSO, discounts taken/lost, etc.).
  • Monitor and report compliance with debt agreements and support the organization’s relationship with key banking and credit institutions
  • Investigate and resolve management questions and other business needs.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports while demonstrating a high level of dedication to meeting financial reporting deadlines and overall ability to complete assignments in an independent and prudent manner.
  • Support annual reporting, including assisting external auditors and answering auditor inquiries.
  • Assist with implementation of emerging guidance and changing regulations, as needed.
  • Assist with implementing and updating company accounting policies, as needed.
  • Supervise, monitor, lead, and support accounting team.
  • Create and post various other general ledger journal entries and analyze/reconcile/review various general ledger work papers to the general ledger.
  • Maintain/develop expertise over SAP accounting systems and other key modules of the organization’s operations that have a material effect on the accounting results.
  • Assist with other accounting activities including disbursement review, lease accounting, unclaimed property tracking, and completion of mandatory U.S. government surveys.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals (US GAAP, IAS).
  • SAP Financial Systems and strong computer skills.
  • Microsoft Applications: Excel (advanced knowledge preferred), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of department and company policies and procedures.
  • Professional/effective communication skills (verbal/written).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize/manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility in meeting business and auditor requests.
  • Ability to work within a cross-functional team setting as well as independently.
  • Proactive problem-solver, requiring little supervision.


Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc.



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active CPA License (or re-activation in progress)
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting (preferably with ‘Big 4’ firm)
  • At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis/accounting


  • 3 years industry (preferably manufacturing) experience
  • Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards
