Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The Aesculap Internship Program provides an exciting opportunity for participants to have hands on experience in the Training and Development field and apply their skills to solve real world challenges and opportunities.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Assists training managers and other training team members in the completion of defined projects.
  • Assists training department members to develop training materials.
  • Enter training records in our learning management system ISOtrain.
  • Works with training managers to develop web based and instructor led training courses.
  • Work with training department members on training awareness marketing campaign.
  • Assign new hire curriculum in the Aesculap training portal.
  • Assist with the coordination of training classes and activities.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in the Quality Manual.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • Currently enrolled full time in an undergraduate program with a major in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education or other relevant field. (Junior year preferred)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Articulate 365 is beneficial.  
  • Language Skill:  Proficiency in English language. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and business contracts. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to team members, management and clients. 

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic and advanced business math including manipulating spreadsheets in Excel, and create appropriate graphs.   

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
