    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Zone Manager of Clinical Support and Services leads a team of Clinical Nurse Consultants covering a multistate area. Under the Zone Manager’s leadership, his or her team coordinates B. Braun customer training on the use of our products with a national team of Clinical Educators. In addition, the Zone Manager, Clinical Support and Services, with his or her CNC team, sells and coordinates beyond product procedural educational programs and value added clinical services designed to improve customer clinical practice and improve patient care. The Zone Manager is focused on three strategic priorities:

    • Moving B. Braun to an evidence-based educational leadership position in the markets we serve
    • Creating a profitable clinical education business long term
    • Driving operational efficiency and execution excellence

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Collaborating with the Zone Sales VP, Zone Sales Region Managers, Clinical Zone Managers, National Clinical Education Manager, and the VP of Clinical Education and Training (as needed) to prioritize customer clinical education and services on a weekly basis.
    • Lead the day to day clinical zone activities as it relates to allocating resources to best meet the needs of the patients and customers we serve in a multistate geographic area.
    • Ultimately responsible for CNC headcount from cradle to grave including hiring (with HR), on boarding training and continuous development (with Corporate Clinical Education and Training), performance review and performance support, promotion or demotion and termination.
    • Responsible for establishing, measuring and reporting on business return of all customer clinical education and services rendered in order to defend expense spend, reduce expense spend and/or establish compelling business reason to increase expense spend.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Clinical Education, Training, curriculum development personnel, health economics outcomes research team and marketing to develop new clinical education training programs and services
    • Responsible for driving (selling) fee for service organizational culture
    • Establish relationships and develop collaborative educational development or outcomes research partnerships with clinical education opinion leaders focused on IV Therapy, Infusion Systems, Pharmacy/Nutrition and Oncology.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • 4-year college degree and clinical profession degree (RN, RD, RPH, EMS, etc)
    • 10 or more years of diverse experience in life sciences (clinical, education, sales, management, etc.)
    • Current clinical professional license in good standing
    • Flexible schedule, availability during off shifts and weekends as needed.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs of business, capable of adapting to sudden changes/project needs.
    • Willing to assume additional “stretch” projects/assignments as suggested by Corporate VP, Clinical Education.
    • Lives within territory
    • Able to pass all credentialling requirements

    Desired:

    • Graduate Degree (MS, MEd, MBA, PHD, etc.)

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
