    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    The Manager, Warehouse & Receiving supports the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations by ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and picking of components for the manufacture of finished medical devices. The Receiving/Warehouse Manager is responsible for all activities, personnel, and equipment within the warehouse areas. 


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties 

    • Maintain a safe work environment by assuring compliance with OSHA, MSDS, and all applicable regulations. Develop, implement, and direct programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property. Oversee accident/incident/near misses investigations to insure proper corrective/preventive actions.
    • Ensure that all warehouse processes comply with GMP requirements.
    • Oversee all warehouse functions and services including receiving, storage, picking, cycle counting, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure the on-time execution of production plans.
    • Develop and maintain a productive work team by creating and implementing effective training, rewards and recognition programs, and performance evaluation programs. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and disciplining subordinates.
    • Maintain required levels of security, sanitation, and maintenance of warehouse areas.
    • Ensure the efficient operation and utilization of all warehouse equipment.
    • Maintain a cycle count program to ensure prescribed levels of inventory accuracy.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of all reports and records regarding receiving and warehouse operations.
    • Prepare departmental budgets. Monitor and analyze annual budgets in order to meet financial goals and recommend and/or implement programs to reduce expenditures.

    • Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory management systems; Warehouse processes and procedures; Management theories; Company policies; ISO, FDA, and OSHA regulations; Warehouse equipment; Warehouse storage systems.
    • Skills required: Effective problem solving, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Experience with employee development and management.


    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



    • BS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field and 8-10 years of related experience.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
