    Position Summary:


    Responsible for leading the order fulfillment team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of data, pick/ship confirmation of pick ticket/packing slips, auditing to assure order accuracy, directing the product flow through various departments, and reducing shipping errors. Responsible for directing personnel to the proper work areas to ensure that the demands of the department are met.


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Leads the order fulfillment team of operation personnel for picking, packing, and shipping
    • Performs picking and shipping confirmation
    • Audits products picked for accuracy and routes to the proper departments
    • Allocates personnel based on departmental priorities
    • Reconciles pick/ship errors with the involvement of the order fulfillment team
    • Assists in training, developing personnel in all areas of order fulfillment operations
    • Distributes work/orders to personnel to meet the demands of the department
    • Tracks completion time of work by personnel to ensure productivity demands are met
    • Tracks order fulfillment, error accuracy, and productivity
    • Pulls and pack orders for shipments
    • Process daily orders through multi-carrier manifest system
    • Oversees time sensitive orders through the operation
    • Collaborate with customer service, supply chain, set world, quality, ATS repairs and facilities
    • Complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures to ensure that all obsolete, rejected, or deteriorated manufacturing materials located in storage are not inadvertently distributed
    • Follows SOP procedures to ensure mix-ups, damages, and deterioration does not occur to materials during any stages of handling
    • Oversees operation in supervisor absents
    • Provides back-up support for all areas of the operation
    • Assist in lean projects, by tracking data and providing input.
    • Audits reports daily to ensure that customer orders have been completed
    • Reconcile open orders report relating to daily/month end processing
    • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc



    • High School Diploma/GED
    • 2 years college preferred
    • 3-5 years experience required
    • Requires procedural skills in reading, writing and basic arithmetic
    • 3-5 years warehouse experience in an automated environment, preferably in a lead position
    • Must have 2 years experience with UPS/Federal Express/Airborne manifest systems
    • 2 years of data processing in an AS/400 environment and hands on PC experience is desirable (using Lotus 1-2-3)



    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
