    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    The Marketplace Strategy Analytics Coordinator gathers, analyzes, and reconciles sales and other financial data from our BW, SF.com and SAP systems to support the National Accounts team which includes the Distribution, Group Purchasing Organizations, Healthcare Systems and Government teams. The role will establish and maintain multiple queries and systems to assess sales, profit and other key commercial metrics as deemed necessary by the National Accounts team. Other responsibilities include assisting in other sales reporting/analysis functions. 

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties 

    • Interfaces with Management, Sales, and Corporate on a daily basis and supports requests.
    • Maintain, execute and reconcile multiple sales reports using BW and SAP.
    • Access and understanding of the SAP system for collecting data.
    • Full understanding of our allocation system to assist Distribution, Customer Service and Supply Chain.
    • Full understanding of all key EDI data sets with the capability of pulling details from that data and disseminating into usable reports. A particularly in-depth understanding of EDI 852 data with regard to distributor inventories and distributor demand/forecasting
    • Work with Supply Chain team to develop usable reports for managing assignment of inventory and prioritization of shipments to distributors based on distributor's inventory days on-hand and other factors such as distance and end user priority.
    • Interface with Supply Chain, Logistics Teams, and Customer support to help product reports as they relate to a holistic approach to managing allocations.
    • Provide distributor specific reports with regard to allocation levels, eligibility lists, allocation amounts remaining for order,
    • Provide analysis (with supply chain, customer support and logistics teams) of direct purchases and smaller distributors to assess the value of moving to either the distribution model or moving to a "master" distributor arrangement.
    • Prepare, analyze and complete special projects for management and other functional areas as requested. Example – Assess and monitor GPO monthly sales and compliance.
    • Act as liaison to other functional areas in order to create stronger interdepartmental links and communication channels.
    • Develop other report generating tools
    • Understanding of GPO specific SOP's and recurring reports.  Streamlining where possible to bring greater efficiencies.
    • Understanding of EDI 832 reports for Adds/Changes/Deletes
    • Complete or coordinate cross reference requests
    • Draft, type, proofread and edit correspondence, reports, memos, logs, and other forms of internal and external records and communications.
    • Maintains all office files.
    • Prepares requested reports and analysis as required.
    • Assists customers who need immediate help with products or services.
    • Prepares power point presentations, excel spreadsheets, graphs, and visuals.
    • Travels when necessary to support meeting and/or train other team members.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Office procedures and practices.
    • Departmental and company policies and administrative procedures; business correspondence writing methods; English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.
    • Excellent knowledge of computer databases, presentation, and Excel spreadsheet software applications.
    • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficient math aptitude and analytical skills (annualizing, percentages, gross profit, etc.)
    • Ability to learn quickly and retain extensive knowledge regarding regions, territories, product lines, and accounts.

    Qualifications

    Required: 

     

    • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in the use of spreadsheet, presentation and database software programs, such as: Word, Excel, Salesforce.com, SAP and Lotus Notes. 

    Desired: 

    • BS in Accounting/Finance preferred
    • 1-2 years Finance/Analysis experience
    • Experience with SAP preferred.
    • Experience with BW preferred
    • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
    • Medical company / healthcare industry experience.

     

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
