    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    Individual will be responsible for the direction and implementation of marketing programs pertaining to the Canadian market. Impacts organization by providing strategic direction for and promotion of key product groups across targeted classes of trade. Manage overall marketing activities of complex product line within the product portfolio. Manage all day to day activities, product launch activities, development, implementation and control of marketing programs to develop market share and profitability through associated distribution channels.

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Meet and exceed annual revenue and operating profit goals for product portfolio.
    • Designs and implements short and long term product group(s)/division marketing strategy.
    • Directs the development of annual revenue and forecast volumes.
    • Manage all operational aspects of product line, including forecasting, inventory, backorder, and quality issues.
    • Directs all promotional activities directly and through interface with all other company marketing personnel.
    • Directs the development of both internal and external communication programs, i.e. marketing collateral materials, trade shows, newsletters, etc.
    • Formulates and recommends strategic direction, personnel/budget requirements, and organized structure.
    • Evaluates and negotiates (as appropriate) strategic alliances and co-marketing agreements.
    • Maintains an active field travel schedule to regularly meet with key customers, sales personnel, vendors, B. Braun US marketing, global marketing and consultants.
    • Development of product portfolio pricing strategy.
    • Develops and monitors product group/division marketing budget.
    • Develops and directs the execution of new product launch activities.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Principles of marketing, technical product information, product selling / demonstrating skills, office procedures, departmental policies, management theories

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

     

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college/university with a minimum of five (5) years related marketing/sales experience at a group level
    • Medical device / pharmaceutical sales and medical device / pharmaceutical marketing experience
    • New product development / product launch experience
    • Marketing personnel management
    • Candidates need to be bilingual in French and English.
    • Business travel, driver’s license, passport, secrecy and invention agreement.

    Desired:

    • Knowledge of the Urology market (Stoma, Continence, Wound)
    • MBA
    • OEM and/or Business Development experience

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
