    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    The Sr. Network Analyst will design, implement and support IT network and voice and telecommunication infrastructure and related computer systems and solutions based on the business requirements defined within our organization. Develops and maintains essential procedures and processes for supporting systems of medium to high complexity. 

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Review, plan, and implement network LAN/WAN infrastructure, VOIP and related systems. Troubleshoot systems and recommend improvements to the network-computing environment. Provide documentation and project tracking. Coordinate activities with network service providers and carriers for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Monitors system alerts and alarms generated from operational monitoring systems.
    • Provide escalated user support for all network infrastructure and communication services
    • Provide tactical and strategic input on network infrastructure and related computer system projects and operations.
    • Develop and coordinate regional and global project efforts.       Serve as project leader on assigned projects.
    • Assist with managing the various data centers and disaster recovery and business continuity services.
    • Perform system analysis, which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
    • Assist other IT team members and business groups with technical support issues.
    • Define and revise SOPs and system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s validation requirements.
    • Prepare project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
    • Assist in developing capital and operating budget plans
    • Train personnel on use of systems.
    • Participate and at times lead new technology evaluations related to network technologies, hardware, management tools and methodologies.       Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    •  Extensive experience and knowledge of Cisco networking systems including, Switches, Routers, Wireless controllers, Access points, VOIP, Call Manager, Contact Center systems, network monitoring and management systems such as Cisco Prime and ISE.
    • Strong knowledge of Local and Wide Area networking fundamentals and TCPIP including strong working knowledge MPLS, VPN and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and traffic optimization QOS.
    • Strong working knowledge of Cisco Voice Systems and Video conferencing systems
    • Strong knowledge of industry best practices for IT networking design including IT security framework.
    • Experience with System and Network monitoring tools (SNMP, Syslog etc)
    • Experience with SDN and SDWAN technologies a plus
    • Experience with Public Cloud services and related networking architecture.
    • Experience with Firewall and Load balancer systems a plus
    • Ability to work with third party vendors including network service providers and carriers to resolve technical issues.
    • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Office365, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint.
    • Must have strong project management skills, including excellent organizational, documentation, time management and communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of Vmware ESXi networking, Windows server and client operating systems.
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, business groups, customers, contractors, consultants and vendors.


    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



    • 4 year Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or related field.
    • 10+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
    • Extensive experience in evaluating, implementing, and managing network infrastructure in multiple site.
    • Project leadership and systems analysis, including cost and benefit analysis.
    • Experience working with vendors and service providers related to I.T. network infrastructure, data center and telephony projects for procurement, billing and service costs negotiations and SLA reviews.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
    • Current Cisco Network certifications is desired. CCIE certification a plus 
    • Must have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
    • Ability to define and explain work methods.
    • Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary, financial and personal data.
    • Must be willing to travel for business including international and work overtime when necessary.
    • Must be willing to carry a cell phone/smart phone and provide after hour support as needed


    • Extensive experience in evaluating and implementing network systems.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
