    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    The Human Resources Manager directs and coordinates the activities of the human resources and office services departments at the Carrollton, TX plant. 


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Responsible for all hiring activities for the division. Contacts various sources of labor supply to recruit personnel. Interviews job applicants, checks personal qualifications against job requirements, refers applicants to plant management personnel, and conducts reference checks on candidates. Oversees new hire orientation. Analyzes current resources and makes recommendations on changes for more effective utilization. Coordinates the use of temporary personnel.
    • Ensures that all employees and job applicants are treated fairly and equitable without regard to sex, race, color, religion, or national origin in areas including employment opportunities, compensation, development, employee relations and disciplinary actions. Monitors the division’s affirmative action plans. Trains supervisory personnel on EEO/AA practices. Serves as company representative on issues related to the EEOC and various employment charges against the division.
    • Administers all salary activity for the division. Conducts and participates in wage surveys for all levels of jobs. Reviews and updates position descriptions as necessary.
    • Responsible for orientation and enrollment of all new hires in benefit programs. Communicates changes in the benefits programs to Dallas personnel. Maintains the processing and record keeping of various benefits programs. Investigates benefit issues with corporate as well as with the carrier.
    • Administers employee performance review program. Trains management on effective uses of the review program. Counsels with managers, supervisors, and employees on various performance issues. Oversees disciplinary programs to ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines. Directs terminations for the division.
    • Plans and directs company sponsored events and programs to promote morale.
    • Investigates all accidents and injuries for the division. Completes and files all related reports with state agencies. Administers employee safety and health programs. Administers hazardous waste program for division. Ensures all state and federal laws regarding usage, storage and disposal of chemicals are complied with.       Completes and files various reports with local, state, and federal agencies. Interfaces with governmental agencies and insurance carriers on health and safety related issues.
    • Directs activities of the division’s training programs to assure maximum effectiveness of employees. Recommends programs as needed per performance reviews.       Maintains training records per GMP/ISO guidelines. Instructs training programs when applicable.
    • Investigates security-related complaints from employees. Maintains division’s employee badge program.

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

     

    Required:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
    • Minimum of 4-7 years HR experience
    • Experience providing HR support to remote service and/or customer service employees
    • HRIS experience.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
