    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    Under general supervision, responsibilities include receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment. Maintain established inventory standard level of supplies. Ensure correct delivery/retrieval of material to/from Production floor. May process order documentation. Pack finished devices per approved work instructions. Assist with all shipping and receiving activities. 

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

     

    • Perform manual and routine clerical duties in stockroom and warehouse.
    • Physically transfers material to/from assembly areas.
    • Package finished goods and prepare for shipment.
    • Verifies and maintains repair documentation.
    • Utilizes small hand tools and may operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet handlers, skids and hand trucks.
    • Perform needed SAP transactions (issuing, goods receipts, and transfers) after verification of serial numbers or batch information.
    • Performs cycle counts.
    • Handles electronic, mechanical, plastic and metal materials.
    • Responsible for using pallet handlers, hand truck, and pump carts in a safe manner.
    • Ensures that pump carts are not overloaded past recommended weights.
    • Is responsible to comply with all OSHA, ISO, GMP, and FDA requirements.
    • Is required to wear safety shoes at all times in this position.
    • Is responsible to comply with all departmental procedures.
    • Must comply with all applicable safety instructions.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

     

    • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to solve practical problems.

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

     

    Required:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
    • Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
    • Perform arithmetic calculations involving decimals and fractions.
    • Complete routine reports, forms and/or simple production reports.
    • Minimum of three years of related job experience.
    • Experience operating a Forklift and Pallet Jack. 

    Desired:

    • SAP experience.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, climb, walk, kneel, talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, or balance. A requirement to lift or move up to 50 lbs and move, utilizing equipment, up to 100 lbs. Specific vision required includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
