    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    Write, edit and process quality systems documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.  Apply basic skills to perform activities related to document control including document change requests, document distribution, and archiving.  Operate in accordance with company policies and procedures and FDA Regulations. 


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Utilize document control software in support of administrative tasks associated with document control. Performs tasks for creation, revision, processing, filing, on-site and off-site storage, retrieval, and disposition of controlled documents at the facility while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.
    • Review documents for consistency to document control requirements. Ensure documents are appropriately formatted prior to distribution for review.
    • Responsible for routing and tracking documents with document control database
    • Assist with document organization
    • Ensure personal training in accordance with department training matrix
    • Ensure job function is performed in accordance with all applicable company policies and procedures.
    • Ensure timely retrieval of records for review and distribution of records as required by department procedures.
    • Conduct inventory preparation of records for offsite storage.
    • Work independently to facilitate and accomplish multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Work interactively with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
    • Performs other related duties as required by management.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Knowledge of quality policies and FDA Regulations pharmaceutical operations.
    • Knowledgeable of Document Control requirements.
    • Must be able to work with all functional groups.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
    • Proficient in the use of computers including a wide variety of word processing and spreadsheet software packages.


    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



    • 2-5 years professional experience.
    • High school diploma/GED


    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
