    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.



    Position Summary:

    Working in a High Performance team environment, perform all manufacturing operations necessary to support the Introcan Work Team.                                                

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Perform all requirements of previous levels
    • Safety : Able to Safely operate all equipment
    • Quality: Ability to recognize defective parts and identify root cause of issue
    • Operations: Successfully meet rate running all of the equipment and placing needles
    • Leadership - Training of Level 4's, 3's, 2's and 1's. Able to lead daily team meetings. Lead the change-over process for either CAL, CAM, ECM or the multi-vac. Provide training to lower level operators. Coordinate quality issues with Department QC's
    • Administrative: Assemble shop pack paperwork. Complete paperwork for all pieces of equipment. Complete machine set-up paperwork for all machines.
    • Quality Testing - Perform visual quality tests for all pieces of equipment. Complete simple and complicated physical testing for all machines.
    • Material Supply - Filling bowls, requesting more parts, confirming production, moving in process and finished goods, SAP transactions
    • Machine Set-up - Able to set-up, perform In line test station checks for all pieces of equipment including vision systems.
    • Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot complicated equipment issues, vision system issues etc.
    • Change-overs: Lead change-over process with focus on meeting going to going rate in allotted time.
    • Solvent Mixing & Handling: Able to successfully mix solvents in Chemical mising room and change out solvents at CAM, CAL, ECM and G24 tipper. Perform testing of solvents during the day.
    • Maintenance: Complete weekly and yearly p.m's on CAL or CAM, ECM, the multi-vac. Assist with monthly p.m.'s., Communicate to higher skilled operators when having complicated mechanical issues
      • Be able to control processes on all machinery and ancillary devices on equipment.
      • Be able to troubleshoot and repair Pneumatic systems on equipment and ancillary devices.
      • Understand how to troubleshoot/upload/download software to MMI control interface systems.
      • Show a defined troubleshooting logic when diagnosing equipment problems of mechanical or electrical nature.
      • Understand how to troubleshoot/upload/download software to Motor control drives.
      • Understand hazardous material handling and be able to perform HazMat techniques.
      • Ensure the operational setup of all equipment is in a safe and efficient manner according to ISO/GMP policies & OSHA Regs.
      • Travel to offsite locations to provide support for maintenance and project installations.
      • Lead Manufacturing Maintenance in machine set up to properly perform IQ/OQ/PQ and all associated documentation
      • Provide off shift/weekend on call support to production facility.
      • Knowledge of basic lean manufacturing principles.
    • Other: Perform other duties as assigned.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Reasoning: Apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form. Deal with Several abstract and concrete variables.                      
    • Mathematics: Simple to Algebra: Deal with system of real numbers; linear, quadratic, rational, exponential, logarithmic, angle and circular functions, and inverse functions; related algebraic solution of equations and inequalities; limits and continuity, and probability and statistical inference. Geometry: Deductive axiomatic geometry, plan and solid, and rectangular coordinates. Shop Math: Practical applications of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, logarithms, practical algebra, geometric construction, & essential trigonometry.                          
    • Language: Reading, Writing and/or Speaking: Reading, Read company policies and procedures, safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work. Writing: Write reports with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar using all parts of speech. Speaking: Speak before an audience with poise, voice control, and confidence, using correct language and well-modulated voice.
