    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. (CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    Reviews and analyzes payroll and time related data to ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll processing, audits, and reporting. Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation necessary to train Payroll and HR staff. Reviews, reconciles and compiles tax and other compliance filings. Works with Payroll Supervisor to investigate and propose solutions in order to resolve any reconciling issues. 


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties


    • Responsible for performing all payroll / time data audits each pay period, including but not limited to: z99, exempt TOR, department vs cost center review, register totals, employee changes, unused deduction and missing time data.
    • Generates, distributes, and analyzes various payroll related reports; conducts audits to validate internal payroll controls and ensure the accuracy of data.
    • Process all exempt time off requests in submitted status before processing payroll.
    • Responsible for processing time data and accepting payrolls.
    • Processes GL files and submits to accounting.
    • Runs and shares all month end reports as needed.
    • Creates payroll, tax, credit union, deferred comp and Wells Fargo account reports.
    • Responsible for processing all KEIP / BBAG / Expat data received from Compensation.
    • Assists payroll administrators with tax input guidance.
    • Pushes out all holiday schedules.
    • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train payroll and HR staff as appropriate on new process / functionality. Train new system users, as applicable.
    • Assists with system configuration testing, validation and ongoing maintenance of payroll system.
    • Act as utility asset to assist with coverage during staff absence or periods of peak activity.
    • Supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects.
    • Reviews, reconciles and provides weekly, monthly, annual tax and other compliance filings to Payroll Supervisor for review. Investigates and proposes solutions to supervisor for resolving any reconciling issues, if needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Knowledge of applicable State and Federal payroll and tax laws
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
    • Ability to meet biweekly payroll deadline
    • Exercise initiative in solving payroll processing issues.





    • Bachelor’s degree required, in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
    • 1-2 years of payroll, HRIS, accounting or finance experience  


    • FPC preferred
    • Experience using ADP HRMS preferred
    • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
