    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    Set up and operate all equipment in the Print Shop to supply necessary printed materials to manufacturing. Equipment consists of but is not limited to Image Setters, Letters, Perforating machines, label printer and 1 and 2-color presses.


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Must show aptitude in required skill set.
    • Must demonstrate ability to work in team environment.
    • Must demonstrate safe working practices.
    • Ability to follow written or verbal instruction.
    • Attention to detail is required.
    • Ensure all work areas are kept clean at all times and one printing machine should be cleaned each shift.      1. Follow all established procedures of operation including compliance with all GMP and regulatory requirements.
    • Be able to operate computers, offset presses, cutter, label printers, image setter and creasing/perforating machine.
    • Do high quality work, communicate with others, maintain clear and accurate records for all jobs performed.
    • Trouble shoot when necessary
    • Operate equipment independently, clean machines, organize and maintain separation of lots.
    • Understand SDWT 1 Basics and apply principle's to manufacturing floor activities.
    • Understand hazardous material handling and be able to perform HazMat techniques.
    • Be able to use Lotus Notes e-mail software packages.
    • Understand Basic Printer Processing and Print Machine Theory of Operation.
    • As time allows, work with shift leader, technicians, and/or supervisors to gain further understanding of machines, including how adjustments can be made to correct problems.
    • Be able to do accurate cycle and lot number checks, using cycle check sheets provided.
    • Document Machine parameters and follow set-up sheets according to SOP's.
    • Develop an understanding and appreciation for Continuous Improvement.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
