    U.S. Facilities and Operations:


    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.


    Position Summary:


    The Financial Analyst II is responsible for reporting, analysis, evaluation and updating of the spending on capital investments. This includes spending on detailed projects, project structures, project timelines and project documents as required, as well as documenting and presenting the overall project portfolio. The position is furthermore responsible for calculating returns on investments such as net present values, internal rates of returns and simple paybacks. The position also is responsible for developing depreciation analyses and forecasts based on capital plans.


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Report actual and forecast future capital spending as part of the month-end closing cycle in collaboration with all US production sites and operating departments.
    • Control and monitor all capital project costs. Analyze, compile, and report investment data for project review meetings.
    • Analyze, report and monitor all spending associated with key projects using the SAP module PS (Project System)
    • Support the financial study and calculation of financial returns of the new projects
    • Support the launch of new products through financial data analysis
    • Conduct post-realization audits with regards to expected returns on investment
    • Communicate project spending and forecasts to executive team
    • Administrate current workflow system for approvals of capital spending and assist in future improvement or replacement of such system.
    • Analyze current business processes and improve information flow in SAP
    • Forecast depreciation expense based on current fixed assets, assets under construction and new project spend
    • Assist with special analyses as they relate to capital spending within the limitations of global investment budgets.
    • Assist with audits of internal processes as needed.

    • Financial and managerial accounting

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Proven report writing, presentation and facilitation skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    • 3-5 years of work experience in financial or managerial accounting of a manufacturing company with focus on capital investments
    • Experience with standard return of investment calculations
    • 2-3 years SAP experience in FI and CO modules
    • Expert computer skills (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
    • Business travel within the Lehigh Valley requires a driver’s license and air travel within the United States is required quarterly.
    • International travel is required as needed.
