    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    Compile and maintain departmental records, logbooks, charts, graphs and assist the Manufacturing Supervisor with all related information to include attendance tracking, etc. Responsible for departmental label accountability and relieving employees for breaks and lunch. 

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties 

    • Using a computer system, maintain all production records and logs. Track material usage and daily variance. Prepare graphs, reports and summaries, update attendance records in database and other information as directed.
    • Maintain and control all departmental documentation including daily performance information along with forecasts for monthly cost review.

    • Prepare the daily output report and compile departmental performance information along with forecasts for monthly cost review.

    • Maintain and report daily inventory levels.

    • Issue and track all documents to assure movement of product is performed following policies and procedures.

    • Coordinate and control all paperwork for the departmental month-end inventories, including cards and document accountability.

    • Control all aspects of manufacturing. This includes preparation, distribution, ordering and accountability of materials.

    • Provide weekly production data used in weekly supervisor reports.

    • Assist daily job assignments of employees according to the scheduled production requirements. Also assist supervisor in scheduling overtime when necessary.

    • Use computer system to input departmental documents and research data and lot problems on inquiry screens in order to make necessary adjustments.

    • Routine interfacing with key work centers such as MSR, Cost Accounting, Human Resources and other production work centers.

    • Compile and update all GMPs, departmental procedures as well as Company safety policies.

    • Relieve operators for breaks and lunch and contributes to training new operators.

    • Work in other units as necessary.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

     

    • Must have good communication skills.
    • Must demonstrate mathematical aptitude and be able to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
    • Must have good record keeping skills and be able to write legibly.
    • Job requires use of calculator and computer systems.
    • Good manual dexterity.
    • Ability to work overtime.

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc.

     

    Required:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 years general experience plus 6 months experience in Manufacturing to include systems and procedures.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
