    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:                           

    The Sterilization Technician handles product/paper flow from pre-staging through quarantine, making sure that product enters sterilization non-sterile and exits sterile.                                               

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Must be able to successfully pass a Hazmat physical                

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills                      

    • Reasoning: Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.      
    • Mathematics: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. Perform the four operations with like common and decimal fractions. Compute ratio, rate, and percent. Draw and interpret bar graphs. Perform arithmetic operations involving monetary units.                   
    • Language: Reading, Writing and/or Speaking:Reading: Recognize meanings of 2,500 two or three syllable words. Read at a rate of 95-120 words a minute. Compare similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Writing: Print simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and series of numbers and names. Speaking: Speak simple sentences, using normal word order, and present and past tenses.

    • High school diploma or general degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
