    U.S. Facilities and Operations:

     

    Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    The Senior Financial Analyst – Active Devices supports the Cost Accounting Manager in the efficient and detailed analysis of financial results and projection of future results of our Texas manufacturing and service operations. Also responsible for improving current business processes using SAP functionality to support end users and to resolve problems. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering reliable and timely data as a basis of management’s decision making.

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Financial planning and analysis of operational results in the Texas plant. In accordance with division guidelines, policies and practices, implements and maintains internal control systems to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and proper financial reporting.
    • Monitor and report purchase price variances and assist purchasing during quarterly forecasts.
    • Report and analyze production order variances.
    • Calculate and forecast warranty revenues, expenses and liabilities.
    • Maintains and improves cost systems to provide accurate, timely information used to determine profitability and performance of the plant.
    • Forecast resource requirements for the infusion system and automated compounding service departments and report monthly income statement for these service departments.
    • Monitor, report and forecast inventory levels at the Texas plant and ensure cycle counting procedures are followed.
    • Preparation of monthly and annual unit volume reports.
    • Report and forecast capital expenditures for Texas operations and track fixed assets.
    • Conduct monthly business reviews with Texas operations leadership team.
    • Improve and automated business processes through collaboration with IT.
    • Analyses and preparation of cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports, including any desirable analysis of monthly departmental reports.
    • Analyses of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the company’s financial results.
    • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and reports as required by management.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Computer skills to include MS Applications such as Excel with advanced formulas, Access database knowledge and Power Point Presentations. Excellent SAP knowledge.
    • Experience with cost accounting, financial accounting principles and project management
    • Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication, very good presentation style, multiple tasking, planning and organizing, good judgment, experience in working in an international environment.

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

     

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial planning & analysis

    Desired:

    • MBA/CPA
