    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Responsible for managing Accounts Payable staff in processing payables and expense reimbursements. Provide the monthly, quarterly and annual Legal (IFRS) financial position of the Company to VP, of Finance and parent Company. Also, manage annual external audit and assist in reconciling pertinent work papers.

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Provide the monthly Legal Profit and Loss Statements
    • Reconcile all statements and work papers
    • Enter monthly general ledger adjustments
    • Resolve any AP issues or backlogs with other department
    • Responsible for the expense reimbursement system (Concur) and Travel & Expense Policy
    • Drive and assist in any AP projects or improvements
    • Provides explanations for the Financial figures on a monthly basis
    • Provide support and direction in properly accounting activities for all aspects of the operations.
    • Manage annual external audit
    • Assist in forecasting and planning from a Legal reporting view
    • Generate monthly Financial Inventory reporting for Corporate Consolidation
    • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual
    • Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values
    • Other duties may be assigned

    • This job has manager responsibilities, currently three Accounts Payables Clerks.

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills 

    • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    •  Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 
    •  Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

    Required:

    • B.S. in Accounting or equivalent required.
    • 10+ years’ experience in Accounting
    • 2 + years of management experience.
    • Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    • SAP experience is required.
    • Individual should be organized, self-motivated, capable of meeting strict reporting deadlines, possess strong interpersonal/communication skills.
    • Must be able to manage staff to accomplish the goals of the department.
