    Position Summary:


    The Project Manager Consultant (6-9 month assignment) coordinates, and directs project team efforts toward realization of agreed upon goals and objectives of the project. This function assists in clarification of project goals and objectives with sponsor and stakeholders of the project (including Sales/Marketing). The Project Manager controls all activities and directs personnel involved in the project life cycle including planning, design, development, implementation and completion of the project.


    This function delegates the tasks and responsibility for reaching the project objectives to the individual members of the team.


    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Develop, implement and maintain dashboards, metrics and other operating mechanisms to confirm projects’ progress and portfolio status
    • Responsible for ongoing monitoring, reporting, and control of projects in accordance with the set objectives
    • Assure adherence to project management standard work, including Project Execution and Management
    • Conduct periodic review with the project teams and with management to ensure that phase-gate/ stage-gate criteria are met in the most efficient manner.
    • Facilitate regular meetings to ensure appropriate project prioritization and resourcing

    • Demonstrated Project Management knowledge of tools, techniques, culture, software applications, such as Microsoft Project.
    • Must be able to communicate (face to face, team meetings, provide presentations, and train employees) with every level of the company. Must have good team building skills and must be able to lead cross functional / international teams.
    • Demonstrated success in leading project teams and managing projects from initiation through completion.
    • Demonstrated high ethics and values. Inspires loyalty and trust, handles oneself ethically following core values and beliefs.

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



    • BA/BS degree from a 4 year college or university, plus a minimum of 3 years related experience in forms of Project Management.



    • PMI PMP desired.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
