    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

     

    The Corporate Compliance Trainer is primarily responsible for administration of the Company’s Corporate Compliance Training Program, including the Development, Implementation, Delivery and Tracking of corporate compliance-related training.   The Trainer will also administer the Company’s grant program. The Corporate Compliance Trainer will focus on the following areas of responsibility:

     

    Responsibilities: Essential Duties

    • Develop annual training plans
    • Assist in the development of training materials
    • Ensure that all employees receive at least annual corporate compliance training appropriate to their job function, which includes coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to develop specialized compliance training modules, as necessary
    • Utilize appropriate training platforms, such as IsoTrain, Skype, PowerPoint, recorded, etc., as well as live classroom training. 
    • Maintain up to date files and records to document all corporate compliance training.
    • Administer the Company’s grant program in accordance with the Company’s compliance policies.
    • Assist with drafting compliance communications and updates to employees, as requested.
    • Assist with developing and implementing corporate compliance-related policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that all employee questions about the Company’s Corporate Compliance Program, policies and procedures are timely answered by appropriate personnel.
    • Keep updated as to changes in state and federal laws and regulations, OIG Opinions, AdvaMed Code and PhRMA Code to be and remain effective in his/her duties
    • Assist with other areas of the Corporate Compliance Program and other projects, as may be requested from time to time

    Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

    • Experienced corporate trainer
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Familiarity with IsoTrain is preferred.   
    • Knowledge of compliance in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, such as Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, OIG Guidance, state and federal transparency requirements, the PhRMA Code and AdvaMed Code.
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Ability to draft clear and professional documents
    • Motivated self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and meet all commitments to achieve desired results.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees of all organizational levels.
    • Flexibility and willingness to approach and take on new tasks.

     

    Qualifications

    Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

     

    Required:

    • Four-year degree
    • Experienced corporate trainer

     

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
