Position Summary:


The IT Career Development Rotational Program is a full time, entry-level development program designed to serve as an entry point to a career in Marketing at B. Braun Medical Inc. We are seeking recent college graduates who have obtained their degree within the last 12 months.


We are seeking highly motivated, career driven individuals interested in entering the Healthcare Marketing industry. 


The start date for this program will be Fall 2020.


IT Associate rotational position will support IT Infrastructure team, application development team, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Team Leads in the evaluation of business needs, and develop as well as support implementations of IT and business applications (IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications – on premise and cloud). Responsibilities will include support for the evaluation of business processes, system configuration, development, testing, writing application technical specifications / documentation and development of training materials for IT and business applications. 


Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Engage in professional development throughout the rotational program, including training and education with a focus on application development, business analysis and IT infrastructure.  
  • Gain exposure to management and learn as well as support key business objectives and company values.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business process improvement, leveraging technology to implement solutions and streamline processes.  
  • Support IT Analysts, project managers and leads for the implementation of new applications or updates and changes to existing applications.
  • Participate as a team member on projects for implementation of new applications and functionality.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining system documentation, validation protocols and training materials.
  • Assist in reviewing user requirements and translating the requirements to application functionality.
  • Prepare test protocols and testing documents for new applications and modifications.
  • Execute test protocols and complete test results / documentation.
  • Assist with training of new and existing users on use of applications and processes.
  • Provide support to application and systems users by phone or on site during working hours.

  • Understanding of Operating systems, Virtualization, Networking and cloud-based systems.
  • Knowledge of computer programming/scripting languages and related automation tools and techniques
  • Strong interest in learning technology
  • Knowledge of productivity applications and collaboration tools
  • Ability to Identify, research, and resolve technical problems or requests
  • 4 year college degree with major in Information Technology/Computer Science.


Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc.



  • B.S degree in Computer Science or related discipline from 4 year college or university
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 Scale 
  • Available on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week; ability to travel overnight to off-site locations to support systems, attend meetings and conferences. 


  • Strong interest in Information Technology and Business Analysis
  • Strong leadership, communication and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to work independently, take follow-up on project deliverables, go above and beyond the task at hand
  • Work well in a small team and be flexible enough to work on any aspect of a project as needed
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications. 


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
