Responsibilities

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Leads the US implementation of the Product Lifecycle Management strategic program with continued day to day management of the program.
  • Responsible and accountable for coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed towards business and organizational objectives   
  • Responsible for the program planning, monitoring and achieving program costs, quality, scope and schedule -Initiate and assign project managers on projects in order to manage scope, schedule and costs, to ensure Customer success and acceptance of the program
  • Plans, organizes and oversees the attainment of program performance, goals, objectives, priorities and standards.
  • Ensures the completeness and quality of work packages and project deliverables. Proactively identifies, manages and reports to all relevant parties including upper management, any risks to cost, schedule, scope or intended use of the project or its business case.
  • Defines and leads the PLM platform rollout strategy based on the business needs and in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders and business units and prepare the organization for accepting PLM rollout projects
  • Works closely with the global team to identify the local needs of the business units during the rollout activities, report feedback and experiences to the global B. Connect team and ensure that the local needs are considered within the global solution template and/or that the global solution template is localized
  • Manages communication between the program team and stakeholders (stakeholder management), contract  
  • Regularly communicates with appropriate parties project updates on project goals, objectives, priorities, plans, financials, schedules, issues, risks and metrics.
  • Ensures operation in accordance with company policies and procedures, local regulations, FDA regulations, ISO standards, and Canadian Medical Device Regulation (CMDR).
  • Leads and manages a group of employees to achieve the organization goals and objectives, including recruitment, training, development and performance management.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge within Product Lifecycle Managment. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
  • Manages entry to intermediate level employees of a department or a function with 1 or 2 sections. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
  • PMP Certification is preferred

 

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 08-10 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Frequent business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
