Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Design, document, test, install and troubleshoot VMware ESXi, VMware VDI, Windows Server 2012 – 2019, Windows 10 in and onsite and remote environment. Administration experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and GPMC. Automated shell scripting experience is desired. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and document hardware, software issues, and make appropriate decisions about gaining rapid support. Perform On-site user support and configuration, proactively plan for system upgrades based upon current environment and future business requirements. Communication is “Key” as the position requires concise communication with remote Pharmacy employees/customers). Position requires on-call rotation schedule to support Pharmacy systems and infrastructure.

 

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Performs system analysis which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Reviews, plans, and implements computer systems.
  • Troubleshoots systems and recommend improvements to the computing environment.
  • Provides documentation and project tracking. Serves as a project leader on assigned projects.
  • Participates in new technology evaluations related to information.
  • Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.
  • Assists Systems Analysts, Network Administrators and the helpdesk, desk-side support group with technical support issues.
  • Coordinates and participates in regional and global project and operational efforts.
  • Defines and revises SOPs and system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support
  • Prepares project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
  • Provides escalated user support.
  • Monitors system alerts and alarms generated from operational monitoring systems.
  • Monitors activities of and coordinates activities with service providers, partners and vendors for installation.
  • Creates and performs validation protocols according to GMP standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
