Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The Associate Director of Corporate Training will report to the Director of Learning and Development and oversee multiple learning channels including leadership and high potential development programs. The Associate Director of Corporate Training will also play a key role within the business transformation change management team that is part of the overall business strategy initiative.  Finally, this individual will have to work independently on most projects and be seen as an expert in the field of learning and development.

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Provides expert analysis to the Director of Learning and Development on the learning strategy and execution of learning programs across the entire organization.
  • Aligns strategic initiatives to learning programs and sets Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure success and gaps.
  • Oversees and manages leadership programs including frontline and high potential programs.
  • Develops change management strategies to support the overall business strategy by creating appropriate channels in preparation of reaching the desired state.
  • Manages internal training system elements, including training processes and metrics (design, delivery, trainer qualifications, documentation and training effectiveness).  
  • Partners with the Director of Training and Development, Site Training Managers and HRBP’s regarding development and implementation of learning programs.  
  • Keeps abreast of learning trends and ensures training programs incorporate updated information and best practices.  
  • Works with DEI representatives to create learning opportunities for all employees and resource groups.
  • Develops measurements to allow reporting of the Training Program effectiveness against Key Performance Indicators
  • Provides 360 feedback and coaching to internal employees as part of their development plans

  • Coaching and 360 feedback processes and rating systems.
  • Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
  • Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
  • Provides direct or supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Represents the organization as a prime contact on projects and departmental operations. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on issues often requiring coordination across organizational lines.

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • 10-12 years related experience in a learning and development role required.
  • Coaching and 360 Feedback Certification preferred.
  • Change Management Certifications preferred
  • Prior experience in managing a team preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-12 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
