Responsibilities

Position Summary:


This position performs financial activities to determine revenue and costs. Oversees the company’s invoicing, close/reporting, auditing, customer contracts, LANCE database requirements and other obligations in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Generate internal systems reports for monthly key performance indicators and financial reports.
  • Preparation of analyses, reports and monthly journal entries as required.
  • Close monthly SAP transactions.
  • Complete invoicing for all CAPS pharmacies.
  • Verify purchase orders with CAPS customers prior to billing.
  • Perform and complete financial close activities.
  • Reconcile to capture all month end revenue for each pharmacy between LANCE and SAP and request customer numbers, territories and COT.
  • Act as liaison when working with Sales, and other departments (Marketing, Legal, Contracts, Customer Support, Credit, Finance, etc.).
  • Support Controller in MBO requirements and process improvements.
  • Interpret and input sales into Net Sales reporting package.
  • Calculate and distribute daily sales for all pharmacies.
  • Arrange interface between CAPS and SAP for A/R. All debits/credits must be on LANCE before interface to update and keep customer’s account current.
  • Interpret, analyze and create credits/debits for all pharmacies in order to correct customer’s account.
  • Test and validate LANCE billing system for all existing and new pharmacies as well as any new LANCE releases.
  • Assist with CAPS planning process.
  • EDI Liaison for CAPS customers.
  • CAPS online invoicing liaison.
  • Complete all requested electronic invoices for exception customers.
  • Coordinate with CAPS pharmacy directors to adjust customer accounts due to pricing errors.
  • Assist A/R with bad debt accounts or assist in resolving credit issues with CAPS customers.
  • Calculate and process Raw Material credits.
  • Troubleshoot customer phone calls on billing and pricing issues.
  • Coordinate CAPS invoice mailing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform analytical and financial studies as requested.
  • Provide specs to IT for custom reporting.
  • Determine rebate set up in LANCE, including payment of rebates.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc


Required: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting Preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years related work experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
  • CAPS LANCE Software

Desired:               

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry preferred
  • 2-4 years experience with financial background for auditing, journal entries and invoicing, word processing, customer relations, and pricing
  • SAP and Business Warehouse experience desired
