Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Contributes to the company’s strategic objectives by continuously designing, developing, updating, and delivering corporate training programs. Prepares presentations in the form of power-point or Skillsoft modules for Corporate Training programs. Coordinate scheduling of training events, training rooms, supplies and any other requirement for running a training program.

 

Principal Duties Responsibilities: 

  •  Prepares materials for and conducts training and development programs by identifying learning objectives, selecting instructional methodologies and presenting instruction.
  • Ensures all company policies, programs are incorporated into training protocol.
  • Continuous evaluation of training course effectiveness and recommendations of future training and development programs.
  • Supports improved performance for individual managers and employees by identifying learning requirements, designing training or development programs, and facilitating targeted program.
  • Records and tracks attendance at each phase of training.
  • Preparation of training materials by different media; Skillsoft, videos, PowerPoint, manuals, training bulletins, CD, brochures etc.
  • Works directly with affiliated companies to communicate and present corporate training initiatives.
  • Coordinates 3rd party training initiatives from initial contact through implementation.
  • Maintains financial records for all training initiatives to review against budgets.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual

Secondary or peripheral job functions: 

  •  Collects and maintains accuracy of all training records, curriculum and course catalogs.
  • Keeps Training Folders on the Aesculap bulletin board updated with current material
  • Communicates training sessions available to employees
  • Maintains library of training classes offered (internally & externally)
  • Coordinates training events including logistics, scheduling participants, presenters, and instructors, product/sample availability, travel, lodging, and catering.
  • Maintains close interaction with the Human Resource Department to ensure the proper development of training protocols, the appropriate implementation of training requirements, and the retention of training completion documents for each employee within the company.
  • Trains new users on the LMS system, ISOtrain and other training related systems.
  • Complies with all relevant government regulations and corporate policies.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years in a training or presenter role within an organization.

Language and mathematical skills; reasoning ability:

 

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. 

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
