Position Summary:


Sr. IT Architect will gather user requirements, map existing manufacturing processes to MES system Design and deploy MES system to replace paper based including batch records, build review by exception eDHRs that interface with OEMs, ERP, LIMS and other Manufacturing IT applications. Architect the implementation of MES and system integration projects for Medical Devices and Pharma plants. Provide functional and technical guidance to ensure successful implementation of MES system.


Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Designing and implementing data management strategies for the integration of MES solutions with our ERP software and plant automation equipment
  • Gather user requirements and map existing manufacturing processes to MES system
  • Liaise with business users and support/resolve MES system issues to ensure availability and performance
  • Manufacturing execution system configuration, troubleshooting and testing
  • Design, Modelling/ Recipe Authoring and testing
  • Create standard templates for multi-site
  • Work on documenting MES configuration, specifications, SOPs and protocols
  • Test integration with other manufacturing applications and L2 & L4 systems
  • Work with cross functional teams
  • Able to support multi-site deployments and enhancements
  • Performs system analysis which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Reviews, plans, and implements computer systems. Troubleshoots systems and recommend improvements to the computing environment.
  • Provides documentation and project tracking. Serves as a project leader on assigned projects.
  • Participates in new technology evaluations related to information. Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.
  • Assists Systems Analysts, Network Administrators and the helpdesk, desk-side support group with technical support issues.
  • Coordinates and participates in regional and global project and operational efforts.
  • Defines and revises SOPs and system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s validation requirements.
  • Prepares project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
  • Provides escalated user support.
  • Monitors system alerts and alarms generated from operational monitoring systems.
  • Monitors activities of and coordinates activities with service providers, partners and vendors for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Mandatory experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) platforms like Werun PasX, Rockwell PharmaSuite, CAMSTAR or Critical Manufacturing
  • Should have worked Recipe Authoring / Modelling of eDHRs
  • Should have experience in creating protocols and executing IQ, OQ and PQ.
  • Should have good understanding of project lifecycles and the comprehensive delivery process for GxP systems.
  • Extensive Domain knowledge of Life Sciences/ Pharma domain.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 08-10 years related experience required
  • Occasional business travel required
  • Regular and predictable attendance
