Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The Senior Systems SalesForceAnalyst will design, analyze and support the SalesForce system and solutions based on the business requirements defined within our organization.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Performs system analysis which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Reviews, plans, and implements computer systems. Troubleshoots systems and recommend improvements to the computing environment.
  • Provides documentation and project tracking. Serves as a project leader on assigned projects.
  • Participates in new technology evaluations related to information. Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.
  • Assists Systems Analysts, Network Administrators and the helpdesk, desk-side support group with technical support issues.
  • Coordinates and participates in regional and global project and operational efforts.
  • Defines and revises SOPs and system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s validation requirements.
  • Prepares project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.
  • Provides escalated user support.
  • Monitors system alerts and alarms generated from operational monitoring systems.
  • Monitors activities of and coordinates activities with service providers, partners and vendors for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Build customized solutions within SalesForce.com and associated systems and integration points
  • Extensive experience handling all aspects of CRM (Account, Contact, Opportunity management, Forecasting & quota management) and platform maintenance
  • Expert knowledge of SFDC lightning and classic experience
  • Salesforce.com administration experience working in an org with several hundred seats/user licenses, profiles, roles, territory management, process builder, flows.
  • Create and update users, maintain user hierarchy rules, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security
  • Expertise with designing, creating and deploying standard and custom reports and dashboards to analyze key metrics, utilizing data from multiple sources
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, batch data processing, salesforce data loader
  • Knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management system Apttus (Conga) a plus
  • Create and maintain data integrity, maintain regular data backups, reviewing data on a regular basis
  • Configure, maintain and support development sandbox and production environment
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, client-server and/or web-based applications and SaaS solutions
  • Knowledge of Custom and Standard Controllers, Triggers, Classes. Extensive knowledge and experience with Apex, VisualForce, HTML and Javascript technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of SOQL, Workflows and approvals.
  • Assist in Release Management
  • Develop and maintain business requirements, end user documentation and release communications. Experience working with the business discovery, design and implementations
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of “sandbox” environments to facilitate success development and QA testing of new on-demand features and functionality. Proficient in tasks required to promote tested functionality from sandbox into a production environment.
  • Knowledge of ANT migration and workbench tool.
  • Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of a large implementation of Salesforce.com including managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, maintenance of page layouts, and installation and support of app exchange applications
  • Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to custom objects, page layouts (classic and lightning), workflows, process builder, flows, alerts and notifications, email templates, triggers and workflows, reports, views and dashboards
  • Import and export data from other business systems
  • Build customized solutions within SalesForce.com and associated systems and integration points
  • Create and update training materials, develop and conduct training sessions and ongoing webinars for both new hires as well as continual education
  • Develop and maintain user documentation and release communications.
  • Provide end-user support for Salesforce.com environment
  • Perform system analysis which includes completing requirement definitions, interfacing with business groups and providing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Review, plan, and implement Salesforce.com technologies. Troubleshoot systems and recommend improvements to the environment.
  • Participate and at times lead new technology evaluations. Identify alternative or new technologies and assist in defining new global and regional IT standards.
  • Develop and coordinate regional and global project efforts. Serve as project leader on assigned projects.
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups. Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Prepare project status reports to inform management to project progression. Identify any issues, which need to be escalated for resolution or assistance.

Preferred: 

  • Relevant Salesforce.com certifications a plus

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 08-10 years related experience required.
  • Occasional business travel required
  • Regular and predictable attendance
