Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Develops various sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for the recruitment of company personnel.  Establishes and administers the employment, placement, and transfer procedures to ensure supply of personnel to meet requirements. Execute full-life cycle staffing activities including partnering with the leadership to assist in the development of strategic staffing plans, ensuring candidates meet or exceed qualifications. Supports company recruitment strategy to ensure goals are met.  Provide consultation to hiring managers regarding interview and offer process, participate in the interview and provide input in decision making process.  Coordinate sourcing, interviewing, pre-employment and offer activities.  Track and report on staffing metrics and results. 

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
  • Reviews and assesses applicant’s education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
  • Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and may perform reference and background checks.
  • Assists with coordination of interviews, interview teams and/or panels.
  • May conduct or arrange for skills testing of applicants.
  • Gathers feedback from interviewers teams and ensures compliance with interview processes.
  • Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Prepares and extends job offers.
  • Notifies applicants of rejection.
  • Builds talent pipeline and matches talent with business needs, utilizing a variety of progressive sourcing methods.
  • Recommends attendance at Career Fairs and other viable venues that will benefit the Company in selecting state-of-the-art candidates.
  • Builds collaborative partnerships with Hiring Managers and external Recruiting vendors.
  • Lead key talent acquisition projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally interface with mid to executive level management, have an understanding of the technical jargon related to the business and be able to speak confidently and fluently relative to the particular position opening.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Ability to function independently and maintain workflow with minimal supervision.
  • Strong consultative and strategic partnership skills.

 

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field. Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
  • Work under minimal supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of junior level employees. 
  • Strong consultative and strategic partnership skills.
  • Excellent internet recruiting skills, including the ability to research and present creative methods of sourcing candidates.
  • Excellent persuasion and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in recruiting industry best practices and methods.
  • Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.
  • Strong follow-up and follow through techniques.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry recruitment experience strongly preferred.
  • Recruiting experience with emphasis on Quality positions preferred.
  • Experience with iCims ATS preferred. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
