Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

 

  • Documents standardized accounting policies and procedures for the Company’s regional accounting function that aligns with Group systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Administers the organization's internal audit plan, which is meant to document and evaluate internal controls, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and identify and mitigate business risks.
  • Schedules areas to be audited based on guidance from leadership and prepares presentations of findings, and develops recommendations meant to reduce risk and increase protection of organizational assets.
  • Coordinates with external auditors as needed.
  • Contributes to strategic projects, system and new accounting guidance implementations, and other ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10-12 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Occasional business travel required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
