Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Design and deliver training materials and programs using sound instructional design practices and methodologies.
  • Design and deliver all training materials and course content to ensure incorporation of the best practices in adult learning theory.
  • Utilize and implement the ADDIE instructional design process to develop required course content and deliverables.
  • Confer with management, supervisors, employees and subject matter experts (internal and external) as needed to gather knowledge of work situations which require training to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Conduct needs-assessments and performance analyses to determine training needs.
  • Deliver effective interactive training sessions and materials that facilitate application of knowledge and learning.
  • Develop training utilizing multimedia visual aids, web-based training, and reference work.
  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to ensure program objectives, quality and company standards are achieved.
  • Update and enhance existing programs as necessary to meet the changing needs of the business by implementing new and innovative delivery methods.
  • Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain new information to be integrated into training materials.
  • Use excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects while working well under pressure.
  • Ability to guide self and others through management & prioritization of multiple projects.
  • Utilize intermediate to advanced technical proficiency with development tools including but not limited to Lectora, Articulate Storyline & Adobe Captivate.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning methods delivered.
  • Stay apprised of current trends in training and applications and make recommendations for enhancements to programs as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
