Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The Sales Service Associate is the first point of contact for our customers and conveys B. Braun’s philosophy of Sharing Expertise.  The Sales Service Associate will provide product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.  Communication with customers is mainly via phone and email.  Duties include but are not limited to providing price quotes, processing purchase orders, arranging shipments, providing tracking information, investigating and resolving product and price discrepancies, handling quality issues, record product complaints in SAP, ensuring custom product is manufactured to the correct customer revision level as well as handling all customer inquiries.

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, on in person.
  • Process orders, forms, and request. Resolve or escalate customer complaints requests.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the proper methods and tools.
  • Record product complaints in Discrepancy Management System and forward affected samples (if obtained from customer) to Quality for investigation.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information.
  • Set up new customer accounts.
  • Create and maintain pricing contracts in SAP.
  • Create Pro Forma Invoices, commercial invoices and CIF charges for International accounts.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

 

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • 02-04 years related experience required.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance
  • Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
