Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Director Business Relationship Management and Digital Solutions position will lead a collaborative partnership with Sales, Marketing and Service organizations to identify organizational needs, drive accountability, and provide technology solutions that focus on value creation, innovation and support strategic initiatives and goals. The position will work with the business to identify, prioritize investments and drive execution of these priorities to maximize the business value and be an advocate for the business in IT and vice-versa.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Leads a collaborative partnership with the Business to identify organizational needs, drive accountability, and provide technology solutions that focus on value creation, innovation and support strategic initiatives and goals.
  • Builds close partnerships with Business units and executive leadership to develop technology strategies and provide technological solutions for on-going business initiatives and process improvements.
  • Ensure that the implemented set of software and platforms provide a comprehensive and seamless enterprise solution to run the Business.
  • Ensure that the design and implementation are approached from an end-to-end perspective, to   maximize value and in order to adapt to the evolving Business environment.
  • Provide leadership to complete detailed design and deployment of solutions (including processes, systems, data and integration) ensuring a consistent level of detail across functional and technical areas.
  • Provide leadership to actively manage project scope and ensure that the approach consistently adheres to the guiding principles and to the enterprise standards.
  • Adheres to system validation plans as required to meet corporate business needs and support the company’s GxP validation requirements.
  • Provide escalated user support for applicable systems.
  • Prepare project status reports to inform management to project progression.
  • Assist in assisting and managing capital and operating budget plans and cost benefit analysis.
  • Organize a high performing work team - oversee development, retention and training of team.
  • Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management and termination.
  • Provide updates to senior leadership on progress toward goals.
  • Investigate and present business opportunities where IT can further the corporate mission.
  • Strong Partner with the Business in leading innovation.
  • Lead large groups in a matrix organization.
  • Build rapport and credibility as a strategic partner.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong experience working with Sales, Marketing and Service organizations to develop technology strategy and roadmaps. Excellent portfolio management and prioritization, project management and cross functional team management skills.
  • Experience managing stakeholders at all levels including senior executives.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement in IT service delivery and gap assessments.
  • Detailed knowledge of Lead to Order and Order management processes.
  • Understanding of CRM applications, Sales and Marketing automation, Service management applications.
  • Understanding of voice of customer, customer experience and interaction platforms, web sites.
  • Understanding of (SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA) SD, CS modules and related processes such as Customer Master Data setup, Partner profiles, Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Forecasting desirable.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more technology areas mentioned above.
  • Knowledge and integration of SAD SD with other modules such as MM, QM, WM, FICO a plus
  • Basic understanding of EDI, IDOCs, ABAP.
  • Ability to challenge status quo and hold business and IT accountable.
  • Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge.
  • Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization.
  • Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
  • Directs the activities of a broad functional area through division heads who are responsible for planning, budgeting, costs, methods and employees.
  • Determines actual organizational structure and allocation of resources.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.
  • May consult with senior management.

 

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years related experience, plus a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Frequent business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, On-call hours as needed

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
