Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Under moderate direction of the Drafting Manager, responsible for preparing and maintaining drawings for cGMP system, product and manufacturing drawings.  Perform site verification and maintain CAD files for facility as-built drawings per building/utility modification or equipment installation. 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties:

  • Uses computer-aided design (CAD) software (Autocad and Solidworks) to create technical drawings/blueprints that are to be used in product manufacturing from engineering specifications.
  • Prepares drawings showing the detail and method of assembly of structures, machinery and/or devices.
  • Creates and incorporates mathematical formulas to develop component specifications and reproduces their schematics for use within reference materials, such as operations manuals.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
  • At higher levels of job function provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. May act as a lead or first-level supervisor at higher levels.
  • Maintains and oversees the Solidworks ePDM vault and approval workflows.
  • Designs and verifies integrated circuits, printed circuit boards and electronic systems.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Manger from time to time.

 

Expertise: Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.
  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Must have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and understand rough sketches.
  • Strong time management skills.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Automation Architecture and/or Electronic Design Automation experience.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
