Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for establishing and executing the overall Talent Management strategy for all B Braun US, CAPS, and Dominican Republic locations. Manages and directs the Talent Acquisition and Training and Development organizations and resources for the Company.  

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Through management of Talent Management/Acquisition processes and systems, ensures compliance to all applicable laws and regulations at all locations.
  • Conducts training and development needs analysis to determine training and development objectives and priorities for the organization.
  • Develops and implements training curriculum using multiple methodologies and platforms.
  • Directs and manages the organization’s training resources (training managers, outside vendors, e-learning, college and universities) for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Directs and manages the talent acquisition organization to ensure Federal, State and Local Compliance
  • Establishes and evaluates metrics for assessing training effectiveness.
  • Prepares and manages the training budget.
  • Partners with Senior Leadership to establish and define core competency areas for the organization.
  • Partners with Senior Leadership to develop and implement a Talent Management Program for the organization including Succession Planning and Leadership Development.  
  • Partners with department leadership to develop and establish competency models and career paths within the department.
  • Manages the Company’s performance management / appraisal process.
  • Evaluates and implements tools for the assessment of individual employee development needs.
  • In consultation with Senior Management and Corporate VP of HR sets direction and strategy for all training and organization development programs, processes and initiatives.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with Talent Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with Talent Acquisition process and systems
  • Excellent skills presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Experience leading others.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationship and create a collaborative environment
  • Ability to sell programs and concepts to client groups and Senior Management

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 10-15 years experience in Training / OD
  • 2-4 years management experience in a large organization

Desired:

  • Masters Degree
  • Experience in corporate and GMP Pharmaceutical or Medical Device regulated manufacturing settings

 

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years related experience, plus a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport
