U.S. Facilities and Operations:


Supporting product sales are a network of nationwide marketing and manufacturing locations. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is home to the U.S. Corporate Headquarters along with the marketing offices of the Hospital, Outpatient Markets (OPM), Renal Therapies, Vascular Interventional, International, and OEM Divisions. Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.(CAPS®) is also managed from this location. The nearby Allentown, Pennsylvania, facility manufactures Needle-free products, IV Safety Catheters, Anesthesia Systems, Introducers, Pharmacy Admixture products. Vascular products including Right Heart Catheters and Interventional Accessories are also manufactured in Allentown. The Irvine, California facility produces IV Solutions, Basic and Specialty Nutrition, Drug Delivery, and BTC products. Infusion Pump Systems are manufactured in Carrollton, Texas and IV administration and IV and Irrigation sets are produced in the Dominican Republic.



Position Summary:

The IT Procurement Coordinator works closely with the Manager of IT Support services to ensure IT assets are requested, procured, received, and inventoried within B. Braun company guidelines. This person will also assist in managing updates/changes in the IT asset database, ensuring IMAC tickets are routed to appropriate groups, as well as coding invoices for payment.


Responsibilities: Essential Duties


  • Maintain physical inventory of mobile devices for the North American Region
  • Create and maintain reports related to mobile devices and associated costs
  • Procure and assist as needed in configuring devices and accessories for deployment
  • Deploy, remove, and update applications on mobile devices
  • Assist in supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment
  • Coordinate Apple Business Manager account and Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP).
  • Create documentation on mobile device related procedures and support documentation.
  • Deploy, collect, and support mobile devices and related software.
  • Establish and maintain professional business relationships with cellular vendors
  • Process telecommunications and cellular services vendor invoicing for payment.
  • As needed, deploy devices and provide training on usage of mobile devices.
  • As needed, trouble shoot device, connectivity, and application issues.

Ability to communicate effectively to both technical & non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with third party vendors to resolve order issues.
  • Must have excellent organizational, documentation and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, business groups, customers, contractors, consultants and vendors.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of proprietary, financial and personal data.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel for business, and work extra hours when necessary.
  • Must be willing to carry a mobile device, and provide after hours support if needed.


Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc



  • Minimum 2 year Associates Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in IT procurement and asset management.
  • Work Experience in vendor management.
  • Working knowledge of basic PC hardware, software and accessories.
  • Understanding of basic Procurement processes and procedures.
