Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Coordinate conventions, corporate meetings, and events.  Lead projects from inception to delivery by implementing convention and event processes.  Must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot from task to task.  Strong communication skills and the ability to innovate processes are a must.  Must be able to work with all levels of employees, including Senior Leadership.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Communications to ensure successful execution and integration of meetings and conventions.
  • Manage hotel blocks, registration, sponsorships, team communications, and AV requirements, in collaboration with Marketing, and Corporate Communications.
  • Maintain and distribute tradeshow schedule.
  • Participate in tradeshow planning meetings with Marketing and Corporate Communications.
  • Research and coordinate sponsorship opportunities, with Corporate Communications and Marketing to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Process invoices for payment.
  • Assist with Leadership and National Sales Meetings planning.
  • Provides general and/or specific support to the Marketing Department.
  • Develop and coordinate project logistics, databases and presentations while ensuring administrative support, events planning and data reporting needs for the Marketing Department are met.

  • Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and/or reviewing the work of other peers.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

 

Target Based Range

$49,460 - $59, 350

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • Associate's or technical degree required.
  • 06-08 years related experience required.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
