Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for providing completed Instrument Sets to the requesting business units of Aesculap in a timely manner. Responsible for updates to department management on the status of builds and any requests for builds that are sent by all communication mediums. Corresponds with all levels of Aesculap’s Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operation Departments to reach desired goal of the designated launch date of our loan sets or consigned sets. Will also coordinate with all parties for loan sets that are added, reconfigured or redesigned. Relays all information to Supervisor to help facilitate the launch or reconfiguration of these set.

 

  • Responsibilities: Essential Duties
  • Facilitates and initiates dialogue with Aesculap Product Management, purchasing, Quality and Regulatory and all necessary departments to ensure timely release of new product launches.
  • Coordinates documentation and corresponds with internal and external departments, Field Reps, Distributors and Customers as it relates to projects.
  • Maintains and documents files and records of new product build and launch or reconfiguration of sets.
  • Provides updates to Set World Management of projects inventory and processes.
  • Manages inventory involved with new product introduction and reconciles differences with management.
  • Responsible for accuracy of system transactions and physical movements of products used in this process.
  • Monitors the distribution of items in need of repair to ensure proper inventory tracking.
  • Provides a report as designated by Set World Management of information needed in order to meet the demand of new build requirements.
  • Creates or facilitates all labeling needed in order to complete new set build or reconfiguration.
  • Tracks all product needed using all means necessary to ensure inventory levels are met for set build/reconfiguration and reports on any discrepancies to appropriate functional area(s).
  • Works to resolve any issues that may hinder project completion.
  • Will facilitate the shipping of new build/reconfigured sets with Supervisor to meet appropriate deadline.
  • Will perform all necessary system updates to ensure new build is ready for use, and will notify Supervisor of any issues that may hinder this process.
  • Must Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Coordinates and executes designated stock level of non-inventory set products.
  • Performs projects as assigned by Set World Supervisor, using independent judgment and initiative to follow project through to conclusion.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.   

Target Based Range

$20-$23/Hr.

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/GMP requirements is preferred.
  • 1 year of warehouse experience/central service and /or surgical instrumentation knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience working with mainframe based warehouse management system preferred (SAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel software preferred.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
