Responsibilities

Position Summary:


Support B. Braun sales in achieving division sales targets by providing sales leads and conducting product evaluations.  Provide clinical leadership, education and support to customers on B. Braun products.


 


 


Responsibilities: Essential Duties



  • Develop sales leads through customer contacts and through understanding of customers current product needs. 

  • Work collaboratively with sales to understand buying criteria for conversion to B. Braun products prior to executing in-service training.

  • Conduct product evaluations including conducting product training and explain benefits and value of the evaluated products. 

  • Communicate evaluation results and customer needs to sales through Salesforce.com and work with sales to close the business. 

  • Provide clinical education tools to facility to “train the trainer” and provide coaching for the key education staff as they assume independent responsibility for additional training in the facility.

  • Provide information to physicians to support prescription and product selection.

  • Assist in the development of training tools appropriate for the in-center chronic setting.

  • Plan and implement regional educational sessions as necessary (basic, advanced) for nurses and patients.

  • Provide support and assistance in the development of new programs (organization, quality tracking, systems, processes)

  • Maintain clinical competency through nephrology literature, meetings, B. Braun products and services and their clinical application.

  • Focus on current and potential clinical issues, concepts, and applications relevant to B. Braun Medical, and incorporate clinical activities with sales and marketing activities.

  • Portray a Professional image of B. Braun by acting a in a professional manner at all times.

  • Train Avitum Division personnel.

  • Analyze current clinical trends in the market place and communicate it to the division.


Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date.


 


 


Expertise: Knowledge & Skills



  • Must understand nephrology nurse clinical concepts.

  • Must have computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Internet.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must maintain confidentiality of all patient, hospital, and corporate related information.

  • Ability to organize multitask functions.

  • Must be self-directed and motivated.

  • Must be able to provide confident decision making skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with others.

Target Based Range

$64,000 to $80,000 (plus incentive compensation)

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must have current RN license.

 

Desired:

  • 5 years experience Nephrology/Dialysis nursing.
  • CNN/CDN preferred.
  • In-service nursing experience preferred.

 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
