Position Summary:

In-Process Inspector (Duplex) will monitor finished product ensuring that it meets all required specifications and inspections. Inspector will ensure all production batches meet required AQLs and will work with Production groups to ensure product is within compliance. Inspectors are responsible for ensuring product is within specifications prior to production start and will be responsible for releasing production line for manufacturing. Inspectors perform visual inspections, physical container testing, data recording into batch records and data entry into validated spreadsheets.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Responsible to ensure compliance of product with the quality requirements.
• Responsible for verifying the documentation/test report and relevant documents of all tests conducted.
• Responsible for filing, compilation and documentation of the quality batch records.
• Responsible for updating the results.
• Provides immediate feedback to production line and immediate leadership on all quality related problems.
• Responsible for updating PM (particulate matter) library when required.
• Will ensure that all quality theoretical diluent, reject and/or yield spreadsheets are updated accordingly.
• Responsible for ensuring all quality related records are reviewed in a timely manner.

• Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.

• No problem solving skills required as job is routine and repetitive.
• Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.

Required:

 

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
• 01-03 years related experience required.
• Applicable industry/professional certification required.
• Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
