Responsibilities

Position Summary: The Manager II, Engineering Systems and Equipment Maintenance plays a pivotal role in Manufacturing operations. The position involves overseeing the maintenance of critical systems and equipment, ensuring their optimal functionality to support a seamless production.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Manages and oversees all operations of the organizations' facilities management function and sterile filling operations
  • Develops and implements policies governing facility maintenance, and sterile filling repair, space planning, utilization, design and construction.
  • Oversees scheduled maintenance and as needed repair of buildings, grounds or associated systems and equipment.
  • Conducts space planning or modifies building/equipment layouts in response to changing organizational needs.
  • Plans and oversees physical moves.
  • Solicits bids, selects contractors/subcontractors and negotiates bids for the renovation or construction of facilities.
  • Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees.
  • Will have full authority for personnel decisions and may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning and procedural change.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action.
  • Manages activities of a functional area which has at least 2 departments or major functions through managers and/or experienced employees. Responsible for cost, method, and employee results.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.

 

 

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Target Based Range

$130,728.00 - 163,410.00

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10-12 years related experience required.

Desired:

  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
