Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

The department Coordinator/ Admin Assistant position will provide administrative support to the Corp. VP of CICS (Continuous Improvement & Central Services) and the department’s head and staff. This can be achieved by coordinating & executing weekly/monthly reports and presentations, keeping the department organized by maintaining the staff calendar, arranging meetings & conference calls, making international and domestic travel arrangements as well as performing other administrative tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines .Advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) is a must for this position.

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

 

  • Provides administrative support including, but not limited to travel accommodations, scheduling meetings and capturing minutes of meetings.
  • Coordinate between all departments to collect and analyze data required for monthly reports, Balance Score Card, Organization charts and  presentations.
  • Maintain daily calendar for department
  • Acts as a resource of knowledge of the company and its organization to all levels of management
  • Duties may also include execution of research, data analysis, copy services, mail distribution and purchasing of supplies.
  •  The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
  •  General: It shall be the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for safety and health of himself/herself and other  persons.

  • Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external contractors/vendors.

$48,359 - $58,030

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • 04-06 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance
  • Secrecy and invention agreement and non-compete agreement, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
