Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Oversees alignment and successful execution of all initiatives and projects within the programs to deliver new capabilities and achieve strategic business outcomes.
  • Develops and manages program-level budget and timelines inclusive of all initiatives and projects within programs. Responsible for the ensuring the programs business cases are realized.
  • Leads project managers in identifying risks and developing mitigation plans across multiple projects within the program. Responsible for ensuring that all projects within programs remain on track and within budget.
  • Works closely with program sponsor, project managers and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, project plan and budget for new initiatives.
  • Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.
  • Drives and supports continuous process excellence and improvement initiatives throughout the PMO, supports prioritization of programs and projects based on business impact and resource capacity.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action.
  • Provides direct or indirect supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals. Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.

Target Based Range

$127,257 - $159,073

Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc

 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 10-12 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Occasional business travel required

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
