Position Summary:

 

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Coach Clinical Educators & Clinical Product Consultants in the field to ensure optimal delivery of customer education initiatives
  • Serves as a product resource expert/mentor for direct reports while in customer accounts performing education/training activities
  • Set goals and objectives for team members to gain certifications/credentials/expertise for continuous development
  • Utilize personnel management tools (omnicoach) to document and provide feedback to direct reports on a regular basis.
  • Continuously evaluates sales pipeline, GPO purchasing cycles and business demand to manage departmental resource requirements 12-18 months out to ensure business needs are met within a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluating new methods of delivering training to enhance classroom training, unit based training, virtual training etc.  
  • Gains input and trend information from major clinical groups
  • Continuously evaluates new and existing data collection tools to ensure that customer feedback is captured and shared internally as part of the continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action.
  • Manages entry to intermediate level employees of a department or a function with 1 or 2 sections. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
  • Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
  • Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.

 

 

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The range provided is a reasonable estimate.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 08-10 years related experience required.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Frequent business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed, Valid RN license

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
